"La Isla Bonita" by Joseph Bleu

Here is another beautiful photos story called “La Isla Bonita” from photographer Joseph Bleu with his muse Andre. Again the photos are filled with emotions. By the way does Andre remind you of a young Jason Shaw? By the way I covet that sweater with blue, white & black block print and the blue pair of shoes. I want them for my summer wardrobe.

Numero-Homme Issue #15

You should check out the latest issue of Numero Homme 15. Not only top male model Sean O’Pry is on the cover there are a lot of amazing editorials inside.

Below is the story “Short Life” by Matthias Vriens who I know a lot of you are a big fan off. There’s a lot of bow ties and shorts by designers like Marc Jacobs, Thom Browne, Lanvin, DSquared and of course Mui Mui (which probably the last time you would see it on any editorial since Prada has decided to discontinue Mui Mui for men).

Another great editorial inside is “Spy Games” by Karl Lagerfeld with Supermodel Claudia Schiffer and top male model and Gucci guy of this season Matt Gordon (who was featured here awhile ago too) as a military couple. The story is full great clothes from Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, Dolce & Gabbana, Burbery Prorsum, Emanuel Ungaro, Dior Homme, Versace, Guiliano Fujiwara and Lanvin.

There is a whole story of another top male model Matthias Lauridsen called “Spleen et Ideal” by Liz Collins. I’m just wondering how come they didn’t pick Mathias to be on the cover instead.

Photographer Joseph Bleu – Tells A Story

After studying fashion design in Paris and New York for 15 years, JOSEPH BLEU found his true passion in photography. His body of work is very cinematic. Each frame has a dreamlike quality and charged with emotion.

Below are photos of his new muse Andre. I love the melancholic feeling of normally just sexy underwear photos. It really takes a great talent like New York based Joseph Blue to shoot a very simple concept and styling like a pair of underwear and make it look something more and deeper.

His “After In A Playground” photos seem to tell a story of a man going back to a place where he used to go a lot when he was a very young kid. Plus I covet that stripe sweater with a scarf like neckline paired with blue vest. I wonder if that Martin Margiela sweater.

Joseph Blue is also part of a dynamic duo of photographers called “The Box Photo”.

The New York Timses Style Magazine -Men's Fashion Spring 2008

Here are couples of great editorial from New York Times Style Magazine Men’s Issue. You can still check them online if you miss the print version. There is a nice George Clooney interview from the issue. The Remix article that showcases the biggest trend this coming spring/summer is interesting specially the Jackson Pollock part.
