CHRISTMAS WINDOWS 2010

One of my favourite things to do during Christmas season is looking at store window displays. Here in Toronto “The Bay” store always showcase the most enchanting and fun Christmas window. A lot of adults and kids brave the cold weather outside just to watch the window display. And for the fashiony crowd the high end store Holt Refrew usually put up a trendy Christmas windows.

Here I gathered some of the Christmas windows from different cities, From Simon Doonan’s window creation at Barney’s New York, Alber Elbaz’s Noel au Chateau theme design for Printemps in Paris and to Isetan in Tokyo’s whimsical window called Ring Ring Wonder Christmas by Finnish designer Klaus Haapaniemi.

I wish all of you a wonderful holiday, and if you still doing your last holiday shopping don’t be grouchy waiting at the long line up at the cash register. Also I wear size 40 jacket ,medium size shirt, 32 waist pants and 9 US size shoes, just in case anyone of you feeling generous

PLEATTED PANTS

Remember back in 1998 when fashion is pushing flat front pants to everyone and pleated pants was considered bad style that makes everyone looks fat and frumpy. Well fashion still having weird obsession with the 80’s and early 90’s. So more and more you would see pleated pants or short in their collection. But I don’t I know if would buy it again. I wore pleated pants during the 80’s but I was a skinny twink back then, Now my thunder thighs are resembles of a rugby player’s, I would look more stocky if I started to wear one again.

I think pleated pants only looks good and skinny and lanky men. What do you think? Here are the collection of pleated pants and shorts that were shown during Milan, Paris and New York fashion week.

TRIBUTE TO ALEXANDER MCQUEEN BY NICK KNIGHT, MUSIC BY BJORK

I got teary eyed watching this video created by Nick Knight as tribute to Alexander McQueen. The short film is so beautiful and mesmerizing. The visual and music are stunning combination, kudos to Nick Knight and d Bjork. Sigh McQueen was really a genius. His great talent is truly missed.

Celebrating the breathtaking imagination and groundbreaking designs of Lee Alexander McQueen, the latest fashion film by Nick Knight pays tribute to McQueen's sensational creations, stellar career, and most importantly to the man himself. Directed by Knight and set to an exclusive soundtrack by Björk, the film is featured online at SHOWstudio.com.
