One of childhood favourite anime TV shows was “The Flower Child Lunlun” or called “Hana no Ko Lunlun” in other countries. The interesting about Lunlun is that her magical power is not just an ordinary power like invisibility, flying, laser beaming, or super strength like other superheroes have. Her power is fashion. She has a magical pin that whenever a flower is reflected in its mirror it absorbs the flower essence and gives Lunlun a new outfit suited for whatever activity she wants to do. Who needs a fairy godmother when one can just find a flower?
The story of as a young orphan LunLun started in France were she lives with her grandparents who owns a flower shop. She then was asked by a talking dog and cat to join them, to travel all over Europe in search of the magical flower.
The magical flower is symbol of the Flower Stars, the ruling family of the fairy-like creatures that rules the plant world. Once upon a time, plant spirits and fairies live in harmony with men. But due human greed and cruelty the plant spirit immigrated to another world. Their legacy remained in people who truly knew the meaning of love and kindness. Only if one person could find the magical flower a new ruler could ascend the plant world throne.
So looking at my closet I wish I could have that magic pin right now. I could have any clothes I want by just simply getting a flower, no credit card or bank account will be harmed. I already have some items on my list:
