Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have been trying to bring couture’s technique in menswear, so for spring/summer 2013 they promised to deliver a collection that is edgy and energizing. Valentino is one of favourite fashion label because of its great quality and timelessness. I have a few of their clothes that I got them years ago and still look great and fresh, although I have to eat like a bird and exercise crazy constantly so I could still fit on them. (I guess we all have to suffer for fashion.) I like how the duo is fusing opulent luxury and sportswear together.

They used innovative fabric to traditional tailoring. Valentino men’s spring/summer 2013 collection has large military inspiration. The shoulders are rounder giving some of the jackets volume. My favourite pieces are the leather polo shirt and track pants-tuxedo pants hybrid. Gorgeous tones of grey, army green, rust and navy runs thru out the collection.
