These are the songs that are on constant repeat on my IPhone and I’ve always replay on YouTube.
"I LOVE YOU" BY 2NE1 “I Love You” is the latest music and video from the group 2NE1, maybe this is to counter point their last year song “Hate You”. The song is a down tempo pop danced song with the usual rapping. It is not as bombastic as “I’m The Best” (still my all-time favourite 2NE1’s song- baratatatat is just so darn catchy). Most of the time I can’t help myself singing the chorus part “I love you” which get embarrassing when you’re in the public place specially in the gym. The look of the video reminds me of the film “Hugo”. It looks like a fairy tale version of Europe. Also on a fashion note, I heard that most of 2NE1’s outfits from this video are Roberto Cavalli
"MONSTER" BY BIGBANG I have to admit that BIGBANG is my favourite K-pop band. So it’s easy for me to like this song, plus I love the chorus “ I love you, baby I’m not a monster.” I could easily see this song as a soundtrack for a TV show or a movie.
"SEXY FREE AND SINGLE" BY SUPER JUNIOR “Sexy Free and Single” is the comeback song of Super Junior. It’s the usual Super Junior’s offering from the beat, choreography and video. It’s not as good as their song “Sorry Sorry” and “Bonamana”. My 2 year old nephew still loves dancing to those songs. The song “Sexy Free and Single” is still very danceable and catchy and it reminds of some the early 90’s music I used to listen to. The best part of the song is “I’m sexy free and single and I’ ready to bingo” (yes, I know it’s I’m ready too. Bingo! But they didn’t sing it that way.) I love imaging grandpas and grandmas all over the world singing that chorus.
