I’m excited about this new TV show from ABC. Finally Hollywood decided to do another TV show that focuses on Asian family. Margaret Cho’s “All American Girl” got canceled in 1995.
The show “Fresh of the Boat” is a half-hour, single-camera comedy that is based on the memoir of Eddie Huang, a chef and restaurateur. Set in Orlando in the 1990s. It follows the misadventures of Eddie as a 12-year-old kid with his Taiwanese immigrant family experiencing culture shock as they move to Florida.
