YEAR OF THE SNAKES -LUXURY SNAKES JEWELRY

This year will be the year of the water snake according to Chinese Zodiac.  Snake Years are sixth in the cycle, following the Dragon Years, and recur every twelfth year. According to ancient Chinese wisdom, Snake is a good omen because it brings prosperity and wealth.  Snakes also symbolize intelligence, diplomacy and grace especially in business environment.
Many people considered wearing snake jewelry or accessory as a lucky charm, so luxury brands created some gorgeous accessory/jewelry collection for this coming Chinese New Year.

BOUCHERON
A jewelery collection dedicated to the iconic Boucheron serpent, protective spirit and symbol of eternity.
Delicately sculpted and polished ,this Toi et Moi Serpent ring celebrates the love between Frédéric Boucheron and his wife Gabrielle: it is a reminder of the jewel he gave her in 1878 which was also a symbol of protection. The grain setting that adorns the jewel adds exquisite detail and expresses the expert precision of the jeweler. The heads of the serpents cross to symbolize the eternal bind between two lovers.

Bracelet set with pavé diamonds, in white gold curled around itself, this protective serpent symbolizes rebirth. The craftsman has reproduced the singular aspect of the serpent’s skin by sculpting the gold of this strikingly supple bracelet. The jewel wraps around the wrist and becomes the faithful companion of every moment.

Boucheron pays homage to one of its iconic symbols, the Serpent, in a new version of a 1970 jewelry piece. The serpent’s skin is represented by raised gold shavings that imitate its scales.
The vintage allure of the Serpent Bangle bracelet adds the perfect touch to a woman with confident style.
