CLASH OF THE TITANS 2010

I can’t wait to see the new Clash of the Titans. It was one of my favourite film when I was a little kid. I was so amazed with the stop motion animation of Ray Harryhausen. Back then that technology was considered very advanced. Greek mythology is my one of my fascinations and any movie that deals with that subject has already my money, although I was greatly disappointed by “Troy”. Where were the Olympus gods and goddesses?

With the 3D technology I’m sure the remake of “Clash Of The Titans” will be more entertaining to watch on the big screen. Also additional A+ for the remake for casting Russian supermodel as Medusa. Which I believe really make sense because according to story by Ovid Medusa was originally a beautiful maiden who bedded the god of the sea Poseidon in Athena’s temple. Enraged by such disrespectful act Athena transformed Medusa her hair to serpents and gave her a face that would turn anyone to stone just the mere sight of it.

But I wished Sam Worthington sported a longer hair like Harry Hamlin.  He would have resembled more the ancient sculpture of Perseus.  The buzz cut made him look so modern.
