Born in Cyprus menswear designer Dimitri Stavrou moved in London to pursue a career in fashion.
For his MA collection for London College of fashion Dimitri was influenced by body armour from various cultures. He was inspired by the mythological term ‘Daemon’, a word describing the ill doings of mankind and warriors. Dimitri used this inspiration to create a visually striking and well-tailored collection combining new generation fabrics such as Carbon Fibre alongside deconstructed fabrics.
