Amsterdam Fashion Week Men's Spring/Summer 2009

Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities in the whole world. If given a choice I would move there in a second. I love how liberal and how creative Amsterdam is. It’s really fun, exciting and inspiring city. So it’s really no surprise that Amsterdam is steadily becoming a force in global fashion. Showcasing great Dutch fashion, July 19 to 28 was Amsterdam fashion week.

Brand EAH! By designer Eva Anna Hekking who specialized in unique and innovative fashion playful accessories for men modeled by male models in swimsuits. NŌN by Kim debuted its men’s wear showing stretched, twisted, and reshaped garments. MLY by Emily Herman designed avant-gardistic silhouettes in eco friendly textiles inspired by Far East and 19th century.

Lichting is the official graduation show for the most promising fashion designers graduating from the seven Dutch fashion academies. Internationally renowned Jeroen van Tuyll showed strong masculine lines with slight ode Yohji Yamamoto.
