Celebrating fashion usually doesn’t go hand and hand with savouring food. Normally one has to be on strict and discipline with food in order to enjoy fashion. You can’t have cheese cake and fit on the sample size too. But in Jakarta they manage to combine the two dynamic industries and celebrate them.
For 10 years now Jakarta held “Fashion and Food Festival”. It is one of biggest annual festival in Indonesia. It is aimed to introduce Indonesia into global market. The series of fashion and food extravaganza opens with Gading Nite Carnival.
GADING NIGHT CARNIVAL
The carnival’s higlight is a street parade around Sentra Kelapa Gading consisting of hundreds participants, decorated cars, contemporary art attraction, costume party, and spectacular fireworks show.
