Jan Zamora Royo and Alfonso Pena Carreras, designer behind the Spanish label Jan iú Més. For the fall/winter 2009/2010 they continue restrained aesthetic approach with rigid silhouettes on fashion. The theme for the show was about cold, dark, hostile and arctic world maybe a preliminary vision of the tough times ahead us. I always believe this is how you do monochromatic clothing. The colours of black, white, grey, brown and ocher are enhanced by the texture of different layer of fabrics. The softness of cotton and fluffiness appearance of wool are mixed with shinny tweeds.
The best and my favourite part of the collection is look number 11. I love the see-thru shirt with fringe scarf and shiny tweed double breasted belted pea coat. I love the shape of the wool cardigan on the look 17. The chunky knitted sleeve was made to look like there’s a shrug on top it.
The whole collection is beautiful. The austere abstraction of form is designed for sensitive and discipline men ready to combat any adversities facing them.
