French Designer Romain Kremer

Lately I’ve been trying to research different men’s wear designers from different countries. It’s really a joy to discover interesting designers I haven’t heard off. So I recently discovered designer Romain Kremer whose spring and summer 2008 collection I love. But a lot of you probably know him already he has been showing his collections in Paris for awhile now. Romain Kremer’s first show was in 2002/03 - one year post-graduate fashion design; ESAA Duperré, Paris2002.

Spring/Summer 2008

I love the Aztec inspired pattern of all the shirts. The cut of some the shirts are really amazing and interesting. I checked out some of his earlier collections and I think this is one really perfectly balance his great artistic style and commercial viability of the clothes. I really want to have one his shirts from this collection.

How amazing are the two shirts above? I almost screamed like a little twink boy when I saw them. I love love love them.

This white one is also one of my favourite. Since mostly I have been just wearing black and white clothes. This one will perfect inside my closet.

Fall/Winter 2007-2008

Inspired by Middle-Ages, men wearing breeches and stockings.

Spring/Summer 2007
It’s a very visually interesting futuristic inspired collection. There are lots of metallic fabrics and grommets.

Fall/Winter 2006

His fall/winter 2006 collection was inspired by ancient Rome. Marbled prints, transparent pants, centurion style ruffled skirts and fabric cut like a feather and put in a tunic are some of ingenious and highly artistic quality of this collection.
