Parisian alternative indie-pop trio, We Were Evergreen is currently my favourite musical group right now. The musical trio Michael Liot (vocals, ukulele, acoustic guitar, charango, banjo, trumpet) , Fabienne Débarre (vocals, synths, xylophone, harmonica) and Willam Serfass (vocals, percussions, rhythm loop, bass, electric guitar) were bonded in their shared fondness of all kind of pop music and nursery rhymes decided to form the trio in 2008.
Their songs are very easy to listen to, sweet and nice without being lip-curling saccharine. There is also a naïve freshness on the way they project themselves in their videos. They manage a perfect balance of sugary and quirky.

This is my favourite song from their latest album - "Towards". This is probably one of their darkest song. I could hear a trip-hop influence on this.
