HOT MUSICAL ACT - WE WERE EVERGREEN

Parisian alternative indie-pop trio, We Were Evergreen is currently my favourite musical group right now. The musical trio Michael Liot (vocals, ukulele, acoustic guitar, charango, banjo, trumpet) , Fabienne Débarre (vocals, synths, xylophone, harmonica) and Willam Serfass (vocals, percussions, rhythm loop, bass, electric guitar) were bonded in their shared fondness of all kind of pop music and nursery rhymes decided to form the trio in 2008. Their songs are very easy to listen to, sweet and nice without being lip-curling saccharine. There is also a naïve freshness on the way they project themselves in their videos. They manage a perfect balance of sugary and quirky.

"BEST THING" by WE WERE EVERGREEN

"DORMANT" by WE WERE EVERGREEN
This is my favourite song from their latest album - "Towards".  This is probably one of their darkest song.  I could hear a trip-hop influence on this.

DOLCE & GABBANA MEN'S SPRING-SUMMER 2015

Dolce & Gabbana’s probably one of the greatest proponents of “La Dolce Vita”. This time instead of the usual Sicilian reference the designer went to Spain for inspiration. There’s a lot of matador and flamenco dancer influences. The use of flamenco polka dots on the three piece suits is genius. The very low cut waistcoat is beautiful. It almost acts as a corset. I have a feeling that those who are not brave enough to wear those bright suits will be buying those bull printed shirts on the front, specially the tank top one.

Here are my favourite looks from the collection:

PRADA MEN SPRING-SUMMER 2015

Miuccia Prada’s theme for men’s spring summer 2015 is realness. So for this collection there’s a lot of classic Prada 90’s reference. The contrast stitching emphasized the new silhouettes.

Since Prada always leads the way on where the fashion takes it course for  the next few seasons, I’m guessing will be flooded with contrast-stitched garments, 90’s silhouettes outfits for a couple of years.

These are my favourite looks from Prada's men spring-summer 2015 collection.

SOUNDTRACK OF THE DAY- CRO- "TRAUM", TIESTO -"WASTED" FT. MATTHEW KOMA, TOVE LO-"STAY HIGH", SIENBO SEY -"YOUNGER"

Here are my soundtrack of the day:  "Traum by Cro, "Wasted by Tiesto featuring Matthew Koma, "Stay High" Tove Lo and  "Younger" by Seinabo Sey.

Cro - Traum
Cro full name Carlo Waibel is a German rapper/singer/producer/designer . His music is mix of pop and rap. Here’s a catchy song called “Traum”. You don’t need to learn German to enjoy his fun music.

Tiësto - Wasted ft. Matthew Koma
International superstar DJ Tiesto song “Wasted” featuring the vocals of Matthew Koma is probably the most radio friendly music he has produced. The song has a very rich pop influence. It doesn’t have the hard drops that usually one hears on the dance club . What replaces it are infectious hooks, anthemic beats and melodic synths.
