Designer Rene Gurskov's spring/summer 2013 is highly influenced by Donna Summer's song "Lucky". It goes something like,"Lucky comes
easy. Lucky's not
shy. And if you're
lucky
You'll go for
a ride, for a ride"
The collection is a very interesting combination of different patterns and styles. Rene Gurskov's collection is about creating your own style and having a ball doing it.

Here is Dsquared² fall/winter 2012/2013 advertising campaign. The ad is an ode to the 1960’s teen rebellion, highly influenced by Beatles mania and the youth culture of the era, that were breaking free from the cookie cutter values of the former generation.
The campaign was shot by Photographer Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott at the Ragged School Museum, The beautiful cast includes of models Benedikt Angerer, Simon Van Meervenne, Liuk Bass, Ralf Javoiss, Daphne Groeneveld, Frida Aasen and Bette Franke whom all played up-to-no-good high-school students.
Additional cast includes Eric and Joan Ribera as ‘butlers’ and Ratka Mayor as ‘the teacher’.
The music is ‘The Clapping Song’ by Shirley Ellis, perfect for Dsquared²’s tough-in-cheek trademark.

Yes, It's all about China right now, since Europe's and US economies are still in trouble, luxury companies are highly depending on Asian markets particularly China. I think this is the major reason why Maison Montblanc built their largest concept store in Beijing.
