Well it we should have experiencing nice warm spring weather now, but the cold winter weather is keeping on staying. So here are some photos I did a few weeks ago to remind you of winter (heh!). I shot this with model Peter Noad (NEXT MODEL MANAGEMENT CANADA) and Edris. The clothes were styled by V. Smith.
Yeah they were a great sport because it was freezing on that rooftop that day.

Designer Henrik Vibskov has always been designing mesmerizing, fantasy-fuelled collection. For fall/winter 20111/2012 he presented psychedelic and futuristic clothes. There are a lot of geometric prints.

Perrier-Jouët’s passionate family spirit for passing on artisanal and artistic craftsmanship were also showcased in exhibition of photographic portraits by legendary Studio Harcourt, with iconic examples of family legacy including French movie stars Alain Delon and daughter Anouchka, American model and actress Jerry Hall and daughter Georgia May Jagger, Catherine Deneuve and son Christian Vadim, French artists Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and son Louis-Marie, the world’s oldest Circus dynasty Patriarch Sampion Bouglione and son Francesco, France’s oldest Jeweller Olivier Mellerio and daughter Emilie and Italian legendary wine maker Marquis Antinori and daughter Alegra.

There was also a private party held in the stunning glass courtyard of the iconic Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.

R.I.P. ELIZABETH TAYLOR

It's a sad they. A true Hollywood Icon Elizabeth Taylor died today.

"I wrote several times that if it did happen, it would mean the end to old-time Hollywood glamour as we know it... Elizabeth Taylor has died at 79. Everything from now on will be known as "pre-Liz" and "post-Liz." I'm glad I was around for the "during" RIP, lady."  Michael Musto- Village Voice

H.E. BY MANGO PRESENTS GERARD PIQUÉ AS ITS NEW CAMPAIGN MODEL

Fashion label Mango has just announced that star football (soccer) player Gerard Piqué will be the new face of H.E. BY Mango starting in Spring/Summer 2011 and carry through Autumn/Winter 2011-2012. Mango chose Piqué because of his well know style, charisma and winning attitude.

The Barcelona born Piqué is one of four players to have won the UEFA Champions League two years in a row with different teams, He also played an integral role in the Spain team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

When asked about his collaboration with Mango, Piqué explained, “I have followed fashion since I was 15 or 16. I like it and I trust my fashion sense. But when I do a major campaign like this one, I let the experts advise me.”

I love the choreography in this film. "MOVE/RACHEL" is  Rachel Roy Spring 2011 Film, directed by Dominique Palombo and choreographed by Jermaine Browne.

DAMIR DOMA SPRING/SUMMER 2011 AT LN-CC

The first time I saw these pieces from Damir Doma’s spring 2011 collection my jaw just dropped. These probably one the best leather jackets I have ever seen. The braided leather in a cardigan style of Jangol Infinity is breathtakingly beautiful. You could see the amazing craftsmanship employed to create the piece. I also like the other infinity jacket. The way the jacket draped on the body you wouldn’t know from first glance that it’s made of leather. It’s truly a genius design.


As a wish list (I can only dream shop) I chose these 4 items from Damir Doma collection that’s available at LN-CC that are perfect thing to wear for the transition weather we are having. If I have a lot of money I would snap these up right now. Another great thing about these items is that they transcend trends. You could wear them for many years and they won’t look outdated.

JEAN/PHILIP FALL/WINTER 2011/2012

It is always interesting to see a fashion brand that is very focused in its vision, and the Danish menswear couture brand Jean/Philip Homme has that.  Season after season designer Jean/Phillip creates an icy, often in monochrome minimalist collection.  Using modern experimental fabrics and blending different materials like leathers, stretch wool, cashmere and silky fabrics, he layers them together to create a flowing silhouette and giving the clothes a very chic and casual feeling.  The silhouette balances the avant-garde gothic look of the style.  His jackets and knit wears are often cut asymmetrically.

Jean/Philip has a very distinct look.
