Here again are the fall 2010 collection of award winning Dutch designer Sjaak Hullekes . The collection is all about clothes that are clean and simple with a touch of romanticism. There’s a quiet luxury the emanates from these clothes.

Please find attached to this email the look-book pictures from the latest Sjaak Hullekes collection ('Small-Town boy', Autumn/Winter 201/2011).

Designer Raf Simons continued his idea of contrast for fall/winter 2010-2011 from his main label Raf Simons to his diffusion line Raf by Raf Simons. The coats and jackets torsos are made in different materials and colours to coats and jackets sleeves, although the Raf by Raf Simons offers brighter palette. The silhouettes are classic Raf- belted or nip in the waist. I would mind owning one of this outerwear for next year.

Jan iú Més Fall/Winter 2010-2011 & Spring/Summer 2010

For fall/winter 2010 collection designers Jan Zamora and Alfonso Peña of the label Jan iú Més continued their mathematically perfected austere and dark aesthetics. The wrinkled wool suits in both plaid and grays gave a calculated disheveled appearance.

The big chunky knitted sweaters paired with slim cut pants with a pair of short over them or just by themselves look so comfy and chic at the same time. The coats and jackets are meticulously deconstructed. Again this is another brilliant collection from the dynamic duo.

I love that the two of the top Spanish male models Jon Kortajarena and  Andres Velencoso Segura were on the show.

I can’t wait to see the new Clash of the Titans. It was one of my favourite film when I was a little kid. I was so amazed with the stop motion animation of Ray Harryhausen. Back then that technology was considered very advanced. Greek mythology is my one of my fascinations and any movie that deals with that subject has already my money, although I was greatly disappointed by “Troy”. Where were the Olympus gods and goddesses?

With the 3D technology I’m sure the remake of “Clash Of The Titans” will be more entertaining to watch on the big screen. Also additional A+ for the remake for casting Russian supermodel as Medusa. Which I believe really make sense because according to story by Ovid Medusa was originally a beautiful maiden who bedded the god of the sea Poseidon in Athena’s temple. Enraged by such disrespectful act Athena transformed Medusa her hair to serpents and gave her a face that would turn anyone to stone just the mere sight of it.

One of the best Spanish designers right now, Ana Locking fall 2010 collection was themed “Spinning Destiny”. The collection is bright, colourful and geometric inspired. She used satin, double wool crepe, crepe smoking, wool cloth and knits. The colour spin print really stands out. I think the chunky jewelries are interesting.
