Performance/Video Art

Here is a couple of interesting performance art/videos I found. Well even you are not into performance art, you should check these two out. I know a lot of performance arts are hard to understand. Most of the time they just make me scratch my head and feel plain stupid for not finding the meaning. Well at least in these 2 clips even you couldn’t figure out what they are all about you would enjoy some hot nudity.

If you like Bruce La Bruce and Vanessa Beecroft you might like this clip of very manly Communist Skin heads in drag. Watch them dance naked.

Ephermeral Body
According to the description this is an experimental video created by Brian Gothong Tan. It was featured in the "Hypersurface" exhibition in 2005, collaboration with Vince Ong Choon Hoe at Sculpture Square, Singapore. Ok there are cute naked Asian dudes in the video to make it easy for you.

Butt Book

BUTT book is probably one of the most entertaining books I have read in years. For some of you who don’t know, the book is the compilation of the first 17 the issue of BUTT magazine which founded in Amsterdam by Jop van Bennekom and Gert Jonkers in collaboration with photographer Wolfgang Tillmans. BUTT is catered to alternative young gay guys who are into art, fashion and sex. Every issue is full edgy and sexy photos and smart, funny, ironic and dirty interviews with celebrities like Marck Jacobs, Michael Stipe, Mario Testino, Jake Shears, Terry Richardson, Cher to name a few.
BUTT is not your normal gay rags filled with half naked straight male models. The photos were normally of the artists/celebrities themselves and which occasionally photos of go go boys just like the photos below.
One of the interview I truly enjoyed reading was the one with homo hip hop thug Louis Crespo. I guess because I could relate into some of his experiences. Here is the excerpt: (Warning: This might be offensive to some readers..)

"Lous Crespo Top Hip Hop Thug Fucks Italian Police Officer With Stick
Louis Crespo lives in Queens, where he grew up as part of a graffiti crew and learned to be a gay home boy. He represents a new breed of gay that only NY could produce - A Puerto Rican, Hip Hop Thug.

"It was actually insane. My posse was called 'FUK' - it was all the kids I grew up with on the block, all the boys that played basketball. They were all straight, except for the one white boy in the whole group. He always wanted me to sleep over at his house. -I know there was something funny about him. He always wanted me to play this game, grab my dick game. None of the boys understood the game and neither did I at the begenning, but he would grab my cock andsay "Got your dick" and all the other kids would be looking at hime, like what the fuck is he doing?...

Was your first gay thing with this guy?

No, the first time wa when I was 15, I was picked up by this police officer who lived in Jersey. He just came up to me and he said"Hey you 're hot, give me a call some time" I couldn't understand how he kniw I wa gay. myabe because I kept looking at him. I was about 6 feet, I had a scruffu beard and everything. I looked older, at least eighteen. The police officer took me back to his house. He was hot, italian and pretty big. I gew up with a lot of Italians so I was always into Italian boys. he drove me to Jersey. He wanted me to fuck him like crazy, I fuck him for hours and then he wanted me to use his police stick and he dressed up in his uniform for me.

Did he know how old you were? No.

..... I was living with this straight, cornfed Oregon boy, kinda modish brown hair, farm built. anyway we used to share clothes, so one day I went downstairs to look for my shirt and I found a didldo. he had a girlfriend - he would bring her home and he would fuck her and I would bring my guys home I would fuck them. We could hear each other all the time. so anyway I foud that dildo tha day and I thought, Wow he uses a dildo on his girlfriend, hot. But then he walked in and he was like, "Dude don't tell my girlfriend aobut that. I sometime use it to my ass when I jerk off. So for a while I was walking around with that image in the back of my head. Then one day he came upstairs and he said "Can I ask you a question? he was lie, "I'm kinda curious about trying something new." I was like "what do you want to try? - ' I might want to ride you- just like sit on your dick while I masturbate - I mean no kissing or nothing- I just want to see how a reel one feels. So I was like, Okay, yeah" so he rode me and liked it a lot and he totally came in a minute. So we quickly moved on to better shit - he was always coming up. he started blowing me and then getting fucked on his back while making out. I fucked him everywhere.
So he did he became a full-fledged gay?

No he didn't. Imoved out and that was end of sex with him. He started dating girls again. I don't know what he was thinking..."

Another great juciy article is the interview of Scissor Sister’s Jake Shears’ ex lovers.

Jake Shears photographed by Marcelo Krasilcic

"Would you say you had sex or mad love to Jason (Jake Shears)?Aubrey: Neither, We never really finished then years later we fucked, We were friends then,

Justin: We both had sex and made love. That's the thing with Jason (Jake); he is the perfect combination of passionate affection and raunchy slease. He kisses passionately like a girl in love, but moans like a whore.
Ned: At first, Jason (Jake) and I probably did more mutual masturbation rather than sex. Jason (Jake) is truly a lover..

Describe your favourite sexual experience with Jason (Jake Shears)?"

Well you have to buy the book to find out.

Here are some of the sexy photos from the book.

Sailor Chic Exhibit

Everyone should go to London and visit the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich London. The museum is holding the exhibit “Sailor Chic”. Sailor Chic is a special exhibition celebrating the influence of nautical style on fashion.

It explores how nautical style has been used to express patriotism, rebellion and sexuality. It also shows its influence in pop culture, music and fashion. The exhibits will display a selection of important collections from the portrait of little Price Albert Edward to current top fashion designer collection of Jean Paul Gaultier,Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano.

Just like Suzy Menkes I want I’m intrigue to find out how sailor style can look completely classic for women and very campy for men.

080 Barcelona Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008

Since fashion has been major industry in Barcelona since the end of 18th century, so it’s just natural for the city to hold a special event called 080 Barcelona “Fashion is Everywhere”, an event that occurred on July 09 to 11 that turned the city into a fashion festival with fashion shows, showrooms, conferences, exhibitions and special sales. Below are some of the photos from the show

Yiorgos Eleftheriades

Urban sci-fi is the main theme of the show. The collection is all about geometric silhouette and bondage inspired belts and bands to accentuate the body. By mixing a sharp, geometric silhouette and graphic accessories with soft, natural fabrics Yiorgos tried to infuse a futuristic element with a very casual everyday attitude.

Roberto Piqueras
The collection is inspired by Nu Rave. Transparent shirts for men and most of them somehow resembling a plastic bag, Geometric prints, high-waisted pants.

Joseph Abril

It's a bright, colourful collection. There's a lot pantsuits and flood pants.

Boris Bidjan Saberi

The whole collection is based on NET. It is used in the army to camouflage weapons or faces. Black knitt wear.

Antonio Miro
Designer has chosen single-breasted blazers in washed shades, flood pants, fisherman trousers and Eighties-style bermudas.

Thierry Mugler Retrospective

One of the main attractions of the event was a major retrospective show depicted the long career of design doyen Thierry Mugler.

Hintmag Lee Carter made a video of the show here.

I love Mugler's innovative design. He really played on the women’s shape.I think the video that really higlighted his edgy, over the top sexuality and revolutionary design is George Michael "Too Funky" with Linda Evangelista, Tyra Banks and Julie Newmar.
